India has one of the largest pools of young, able-bodied talent in the world, yet for decades, the pathways into the Merchant Navy remained inaccessible to the majority — particularly to those from landlocked cities and modest backgrounds. Dr. Singh committed himself to changing that, and AIIMT became the vehicle through which that change would be delivered.

His vision extends beyond the classroom.
